Since 1981, CAAS has led efforts to end poverty in Somerville. With your help, CAAS and the low-income community we serve can accomplish more. Your support will help fund essential programs for our neighbors in need:
Free preschool for approximately 275 low-income children and their families each year
A wide range of services to low-income individuals at risk of homelessness, including preventing evictions and improving access to public benefits
Organizing and engaging low-income residents in collectively pushing for social change and ensuring that tenant voices are heard
Free tax preparation assistance for low- and moderate-income families
